These three films directed by Hayao Miyazaki, who founded Studio Ghibli, all seem to have the same editor and music composer, and two share the same producer. The films also share the same animation style that is unique to studio ghibli. Themes that are explored within all the films are child/teenager/young (usually) female protagonists, usually with male supporting characters. They often explore the spirit realm or different spirits, gods or demons.
